Caroline Aston DES
Principal 

Caroline has been planning conferences and events for associations, government, not-for-profits and business for 25 years. 

Before launching Aston Events, Caroline was the Senior Manager of Communications for the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Recreation and the Director of Communications for the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Her career includes award-winning work for BBC Television, as well as the Advertising & Design Club of Canada.

A graduate of Nottingham University, England, Caroline is an active member of the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) where she sits on the Past-Presidents Council, and is a certified Digital Event Strategist (DES).

Caroline is the recipient of the 2022 Excellence in Leadership Award presented by the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planner (CanSPEP).

Janet Victor CMP
Program Manager

Janet is an award-winning planner (MPI Toronto’s Planner of the Year award) who has managed events for the association, corporate and government sectors for 30 years. She specializes in health-related conferences – a legacy of her professional background.

Janet also taught event planning at Ryherson University. She is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP).  She has served as MPI Toronto Chapter’s President, as well as V.P Education for MPI Foundation Canada.

Kate Hendry
Registration Manager and Program Coordinator

Kate joined the team in 2017 as a student volunteer and quickly moved into the role of Registration Manager and Program Coordinator. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail allows her to anticipate and solve problems before they occur. She creates a warm and welcoming registration process to ensure a great first impression for your event.

Kate is an active member of the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) as part of the Event Committee and a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She brings industry knowledge and best current practices as a Dean’s List graduate from George Brown College’s Special Event Management program.
